The
Department of Family Medicine provides Hispanic/Latino Health
education at all levels of training – medical students, residents,
fellows and continuing education for faculty and practicing
physicians. Our goal is to weave a continuous and seamless series of
Hispanic-focused educational experiences into the fabric of health
professions training thus building for the 21st century a family
medicine health care model where there are no gaps.

We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and
forget about progress and prosperity for our community...
Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations
and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own.
